Do you plan on making art for any other classic arcade games?

Not really. The thing I'm doing now is arcade related though, but it's only a collage of mascots for a cabinet sideart. The main thing I do is more C64 related.

Looks exactly like something from the Spore Demo. From the scale-type to the legs Could this game have been an inspiration for Spore, perhaps?

There were a very few early games that left impressions in today's ones. In case of SPORE, you can sometimes hear the M.U.L.E. theme but that's all I know about. I guess I just spent a lot of time with SPORE and unconsciously copied the insectoid leg.

and the scales. I can easily recreate that using the demo. It's still an excellent design, though.

Hard to tell. The original sprites of all the monsters in the C64 game were the same size, and the human Worriors were not different, so from a creative standpoint I'd say I imagine them approximately lion/tiger sized.
Games of that age didn't require concepts of such depth though

Well, if I abstract away from the original and imagine them say as scorpion-sized, it would be very creepy to see one of them crawling on my bed
Here's a vid about the original: [link]
