Description
These are the shields of the 12 Clans of The Realm. Each shield contains the symbol of the clan, and it's Tartaine (similar to a tartan plaid.)The Northern clans have Blue Shields as they reside in the northern snowy climes.
The Eastern clans have Red Shields as they are nearest to the enemies in the east.
The Western clans have Green Shields for they reside along the edge of the Western Forest.
The Southern clans have Yellow Shields as they lie in the hot of the south.
Created with Gimp 2.6 and a Wacom Intuous4. Time, about one hour per shield.

Thanks for the feedback. Sorry you don't like the plaid, but a big part of my design was tartan plaids for each of the 12 clans, loosely based on ancient clans before the rise of Scotland.

Ah the Scotland thing makes sense. I still like them with the plaid.
