the colors from the dragons are... .... awesome!
You are really good at coloring O.o Some years ago (ok... until now) I have problem to think about coloring something hehe
And watercolor for the background is good. I love to use watercolor for big draws, you can color it faster.

Thanks, about coloring problems... Do you ever tried to think how the picture would look like while still doing his lineart? I always think first about coloured one and then start drawing pictures lineart.
And for using watercolour pencils, I didn't try the out on big formats, but maybe I'll do that in a near future (English teacher mentioned something about drawing a big(A3) pic for her)

I think more in bw (like a comic) rather than colored ^^'
If you have only water-colored pencil, you can use it the way you did in this draw and there is another technique:
With a scisor or knife, make little pieces from the point of your colored pencil (red, for exemple); gather the pieces in a plastic or glass place were you can put water; with your pencil put water until you will have the color red that you want (more water, more light the red will be).
Play with it the way you want, just pay attention to the paper were you'll use watercolor. Since it uses water, canson paper will deal with it better rather than a sulfite paper.

Shouldn't all coloured pictures look better than uncoloured ones (I'm talking about the same picure - about it's lineart and coloured version) ?

Sometimes some pics look better without color.
