HISTORY
Created on Coalation Station Beta 5, she was a minor miracle to her creators but a bigger danger to their pitiful existence on the station. As it was, Ashbringer was barely bringing enough in to care for his mate and himself. With the addition of Crosshatch, he was soon run ragged and turned to a life of 'easy creds' by helping the crime syndicate on the station by running goods to the different pods for them. This is a crime that is punishable by deactivation. It was not long before this life caught up with Ashbringer and his existence was put to an end -- in front of his daughter.

After watching her father be executed by the less-than-savory enforcers that made up the station's guards, Crosshatch vows revenge on them all. At the time of her father's deactivation, she was the equivalent of 10 years old. The hatred toward the enforcers aboard the station has grown since then and has consumed her every waking thought. The only occurrence in her existence that drags her from this destructive obsession is the sudden disappearance of her mother, Starlingriser.

With the loss of both parents, she is forced to make the tough decision of how to survive on her own. She is, somewhat, lucky and finds a place as assistant to a femme called Arbitrage. The femme is extremely demanding and often finds reasons to swat Crosshatch upside the helm, but she also offers protection from the unwanted affections of mechs and the enforcers. Crosshatch uses Arbitrage's considerable network of informants to find out the possible whereabouts of her mother before escaping in the dead of the dark cycle and traveling to a small, insignificant (as far she knows) world known as Earth.

RELATIONSHIPS

Arbitrage: Her boss -- They have a strange relationship. Crosshatch doesn't like those in authority and neither does Arbitrage, but she also has issues with the Arbitrage treats others. She works as the femme's personal assistant and sees the seedier side of life quite often. However, if it were not for Arbitrage, she would be harrassed constantly, so she remains with the femme. A strange bond does form between the two and Crosshatch discovers that she hates lying to the femme to get off of the station without her knowledge.
