Description EDIT

I'm not sure if these are isometric, or not... They aren't from 3/4 view, but they are a method of portraying 3D traits in a 2D form. For now, because of Wikipedia's description of isometric, I'll keep them out of that category.

Also, I found a better format, added a couple of new tiles, and added two more example models. However, it now forces you to hit the download button to the left to see the proper image.

END EDIT

Okay, here's some pixel art for you all! Every so often, I feel the need to make maps of certain things, and I need them in an effective perpsective. Hextiles usually fulfill my needs nicely. However, I've always been twitchy about my maps... They need to look GOOD. So I usually end up spending hours on end constructing all sorts of reusable "tiles" which I can assemble together in MSPaint, as though they were lego. Thus far, these tiles have been the most effective and successful, incorporating each element I've ever needed. (Well, excluding a certain thing involving move spaces, but that's another story all together...)

If you see any sort of use for this, say D&D perhaps, then feel free to use them. I don't even care if you give me credit. These tiles were made to be used, and that's what I want them to do. They're actually quite the effective digital tool once you get used to them...

I must warn you, though. These tiles may seem simple, but they're not exactly for noob pixel artists. It may take you several hours before you really know how to use each part correctly. (Not even I know, and I made the damned things!) The slope tiles are medium-level difficulty. It's the wall tiles that are the real murderers. And, no, the wall tiles aren't off by 2x4 pixels. Mess around with it, and you'll see what I mean. There's a lot of overlap and specialized selection involved...

EDIT

Also, they won't let me keep BMP perfection, and forced it to be changed to JPG. Meaning there are artifact pixels all over it. Sorry about that, guys! I'll try and find a better file format, and fix that some day, so as you can use them without having to remake them.

END EDIT

Sorry I completely forget to add comment - this is great one and I really like it mostly because it explain how 2d is still cool - and those words are from Developer not Artist! Thanks for that again!
