This is nice and clear; good job. This method was devised by a man named Aidan Meehan, very popular these days. His books came out in the 90's, and his methods are simpler than the other leading schools of thought in Celtic art, so a lot of what you'll see these days is made using his method. This ^^^ is a nice succinct explanation
I make celtic knotwork also, using a slightly different method; I learned George Bain's method, and though his book is a classic it's also rather hard to follow, so I've made a few tutorials of my own explaining the method:[link] [link] [link]
I had to come up with my own method of making large celtic panels; that's the second one there.
After joining here, I found several other members who have come up with their own ingenious ways of making celtic art; 1sand0s found a way to add perspective to knotwork panels: [link] =sidneyeileen has an interesting take on freehand knotwork: [link] ~CryoSphinx gives ways of making knotwork in Inkscape and Gimp: [link] [link] and ~perfalcon17x has his own way of making ring knots: [link]
You should check them out; there's some amazing people on here!

Thank you that you like my tutorial!
I like your method too, and also tried it in the beginning but I found it a little bit too complicated. And thank you for the links of the other people, some of them are really intresting especially from sidney eileen.
