Description
"Concede your opprobrium, guttersnipe. Abnegation of Lexiconian deniability is intrinsic to your comportment. So like your ilk to bedizen stratagems in spurious eleemosynary. You brandish a locutionary sledge against the hopelessly hebetudinous, duplicitously interpolating predomination as cynosure dragomen. I am the augur of your godhead’s extirpation."
It's been years since I uploaded WordGirl art. I return to the vaguely outlined fan-vignette of the Sesquipedalians, who are...exhausting to write dialog for. Here the insurgent attempts to convince Becky that her hard work as the heroine of Fair City is beyond what she believes. Could it truly be that she exists as a sleeper agent, subconsciously driving on a Lexiconian doctrine of controlling other species' communication? Politically speaking, being the designated conduit for understanding of language to a population has immense potential. Through every word she defines, Word Girl could twist meanings and connotations ever so slightly as to guide her subjects to unbreakable allegiance, self-destructive atrocities, new advances in technology, and more. She denies having such intentions, but it becomes apparent with each monument, each holiday dedication, and each additional key to the city, that the people she lives with have come to worship her as a linguistic deity.

Wow! Impressive scene! I can see this as a genuine story!
And, yeah, I suppose the Insurgent's dialogue could be difficult to write; I can see that he uses big words.
I like the fact you wrote, implying that Wordgirl could control Fair City, and perhaps the world, if she wanted to, but she doesn't want to glory going over her head. It would probably take some manipulation to make her into a global ruler (perhaps into the Rhetorician. )

Heh heh, well I'd say this scenario scarcely represents the show's true tone. XD
