I wanted a cutiemark to symbolize that Kydoses loving heart was his unique talent. What really seemed important when coming up with his cutiemark though, was the thought of how would he discover that love was his talent. What I came up with was two love swans that when paired together, shape a heart (representing Rarity and himself) . That's why Kydose didn't get his cutiemark until well after meeting Rarity. It was this decision that helped me shape more of his backstory and other personality traits :3

Yeah that cutie mark took me a while to decide on, almost a year actually. It took so long in fact I made it apart of his story and decided he was blankflank when he first met Rarity, which fit well with some other things I had come up with for him.Β
