It is doubtless that you are a very skilled artist and have a great technique, but I think you should have given a proper reference to the ad that you based it on nevertheless.

personally i think the shoulders look a little tense? is this deliberate?. its a beautiful picture though.

This is awesome, I suggest you take an extra 30 minutes to refine the skin of the back, and also the material shes wrapped in. The face itself is amazing, not to mention the hair aswell!

they mean when they say used a 'stock' photo, I know what that is, but what do they do
like in PShop, do they scan it or just 'reference' it?? use it as a template to build on? I've
never used Pshop or any of those. My artwork is of a different nature

Naja mit einer guten Referenz ist es wirklich kein Problem
Aber hΓ€ngt auch stark vom Tool ab bzw. von was fΓΌr einem Pinsel ich in Photoshop benutze.

This was only done with the normal hard edged paintbrush. Opacity and flow set to pen pressure. (Using my wacom)
I do have some custom brushes I use every now and then and I plan to upload the .abr to my website within the next few days (in case you were interested

I adore her face and hair. It's really nice how sharp they look compared to the rest of the picture, it really gets the viewer to focus on them. Great job, as always!

Wow, your speed paintings are amazing! I love the dewey look of her skin - so soft, smooth and shiny. I like her assymetrical haircut as well. I hope these are helping you find that better technique you have been looking for.

Yes, a touchpad... It sucks, but it's better than the little blue... joystick... button thing... that's integrated into the keyboard. I haven't drawn anything (though I've tried) with it, I just touch up pictures and tweak them and whatnot. I've more or less gotten used to it... Perhaps if I get more serious with CG stuff, I shall get a Wacom. ^^
