"Self control and self mastery prevent pleasure from killing the soul by suffocation. Legitimate pleasures are controlled in the same way an athlete's muscles are: for maximum efficiency without damage. Lust is the self-destructive drive for pleasure out of proportion to its worth. Sex, power, or image can be used well, but they tend to go out of control."This is the first part of a series I am working on. Portraying the seven deadly sins with angels (sarcastic huh?

Ah that's too bad. I think I know which series you're talking about (blackeri?) and I wanted to see a different take on it by someone with skill. Well at least your seasons series is the best I've seen here

The armor is kind of symbolic (you are actually the first to mention it). It is supposed to act as protection against being hurt or actually of making it impossible to have someone get close enough to get involved with feelings..

Boy oh boy.. that's one helluva picture!
I love the different symmetrical shapes that are merged in to the picture. Lovely little details - for example the long black nails, which I assume have grown because of the corruption of the deadly sin. Quality and colors are excellent too.. can't find anything bad to say about this one (damnit!).

Sad thing that they are only 7 deadly sins, maybe you want to "invent" 5 new sins than you could fill a whole calendar.
This is realy a great piece you've done... very dynamic, strong in colors and motion... and I love her armor.
