and, i think she's done. the old one will be moved to scraps.i decided that with the pose, and mask, she looked a bit like a bird, and the colors were already fiery... so, there you have her.
i like her a lot right now, though this is subject to change.

It's been a long time since I've been really struck by a piece of art. Everything about this, the pose, the deep richness of the colors and shading, the way her dress swirls about her, her inhuman mystique, it's amazing. I just can't stop staring at it. This and the others in your queen series - especially the blue queen WIP - are simply exquisite.

thank you very much, i wish i could say it was me, but this queen came out on her own, none of my other images look this good, and trying to make something comparable drives me crazy.

That is magnificant... Phoenix was my favorite comic character.. I feel like this is what she would look like in the 17th century... if shed appeared in 1602.. the series... wicked... love it

The colors in this are utterly amazing. I love how the lines are very flowing, but maintain a certain edgyness and sharpness to show the image's overall struggle between elegance and deviance. Very telling. I love it!
