I was hunting through my old folders when I stumbled across this.I made this 7/29/2010.
The models are both me.
When I first started struggling with my gender identity, I had no idea how to express it. It had been bottled up for quite a few months, until I came up with this idea, and went for it.
What is gender? It's a bunch of wibbly-wobbly gook. And to be honest, I'm not sure where I am. I might be genderqueer, I might be ftm/ a boy, but at this point, it's not a big deal to me.

(extremely late reply, sorry! i'm hardly ever on.) the longer one was a wig, I'm afraid. though I'm sure you could hide a braid behind your shoulder for a picture, or if you're talking in everyday life, just under a hat or something.Β

hmm. well, there are plenty of cismen as well as ftms with long hair that rock it! the nice thing about hair is that it grows back, so even if you cut it and decide you prefer it long, it'll be back eventually.Β

But yeah, it IS kinda 'wibly-wobly'! At first I used to think it was THIS or THAT and that this this or that was linked to a corresponding this or that body. Later I found out that's not always the case, but still thought in either male or female...
Now... now... 'gender' is one heck of a crazy thing to me. It's a crazy piece of... wibly-wobly-ness XD

I just took two different photos, leaving the camera in the same position, and then cropped myself out of one of them and pasted it in the other.
