Description
This is what getting a Daily Deviation motivated me to do... Yes, there might be a little influence of both and Matthieu Lauffray... Hope you'll enjoy!EDIT: I'm such a dumbass... I posted the unfinished version at first, with no shadows etc! Stupid me... Sorry if this doubleposts in your deviantwatch...

I've always said whatever it is you are especially happy with is doomed to be overlooked by everyone else

Oooooooo!!!!! I love this so much!! I Definately see the Matthieu Lauffray influence. Isn't he just amazing? His 'Proto' book made me more excited than is probably healthy Claire Wendling's 'Drawers' book gave me the same reaction.
May I ask what you used to colour it? It looks a bit like the watercolour mode in Corel painter. I love that you left the pencil shading in there. It gives it a nice texture that you usually don't see with computer generated art.

oh I just love claire wendling! she is such a godess... in fact, this was all done in photoshop, except the lineart, naturally. I never tried out corel painter, but I can't wait to! thank you for the comment!
