I'm not sure if I should be really happy with this, or disappointed, because I am very content with my anatomy and the concept, but his eyes look really wonky and I couldn't probably get the colours right. As always with watercolours. xDYou have no idea how many times I painted the 'black' over to get it as dark as you see it~
Also I had a huge struggle with th text, but it turned out alright <33
I wanted to use the awesome style of trees' branches that I saw on your picture of him, but in a littke different way.. I hope it turned out alright!!

This is one of the.. Godlike (xD) creatures of Numes and I think he has no art yet, but the design is SOO COOL????? *__* I mean ...
Even though he's mostly black, the colours look so soft in my eyes and I can't stop looking at him ahh :__:

The other is all in the movement of the wrist
Using quick strokes
Slow strokes or multiple little strokes (scratchy strokes) won't look as smooth
Also since you're using ps it'll still take a while of practice and such for your hand to get use to the stability which it's already doing
If you just keep going as you are and use fast strokes and get used to the undo button (lol) you'll have smooth ps lineart in no time XD
There's actually a real good tutorial on tumblr about this but I don't have a link atm I'm on my phone

What dpi do you scan at? I scan at 300dpi, and my images come out pretty well. ;; 0 ;;

I haven't tried scanning in photoshop yet... I just scan with my printer and it comes out to whatever dpi it wants to come out as. X"DDD

And oh gosh I totally feel you on the colors omfg water colors can be really difficult ahaha
It's amazing how clean this is?? Like?? Nothing spilled or bled?????
And the eyes actually look pretty good in my opinion!! They're a teeny tiny bit wonky, but eyes are weird in general so it's not really evident unless you spend a good look time squinting at the eyes in the picture, and why would you want to do that you silly bean ;>>

Yess, I don't like the 'bleeding' w-colours tbh xD I can't make normal lines with them. Everything is so.. wet.

I really love working with water colors but the colors are always just??? Too saturated?? And when I try to lower the contrast a little by adding water, everything is wet ew. What kind of water colors/paper/pens do you use? Do you have any tips? I really love working with water colors but I'm horrible at it ahaha. ;; v ;;
I think I spent more time on eyes than anything else when I was working on my anatomy ahaha, and they are sTILL KIND OF UNEVEN

Don't add water, you'll die. xD
What I do is that I make the brush wet and them mix it with the colours! You can also paint the colours over to get a stronger colour.. you can just start with a lighter one.Β
I'm gonna add those questions to my FAQ tomorrow and answer everything with pictures if that's okay! : D
