And once again, Fennekin is the most popular xDIt's really weird playing with new pokemon before the game is out!
Ok this has gotten really popular but I just want to clarify that THIS IS A FANGAME!
These are not screenshots of Pokemon X / Y. It's my own fangame, which is an mmo game (massive multiplayer online). These are screenshots of Route A1 in my fan-made region called Atlas, which has over 200 new pokemon in it. There is no planned release date yet but we're working on it every day and hopefully will release it some time this year.
NOTE: Vermini is not GEN 6! He's in my dex I just wanted to show a battle. He was created by the awesome and full credit goes to him! [link]

The Ruby/Sapphire remakes aren't needed. The only reason they remade Red/Blue/Gold/Silver is because you couldn't transfer Pokemon from the 2nd generation to the 3rd generation.

Yeah because you can totally play RSE on a DSI/DSIXL/3DS + A RSE remake is long overdue, and I'd like a remake of RBY that doesn't suck and sticks to the original.

But what I'm saying is that they only remade the ones they did because you couldn't transfer from 2nd to 3rd generation. They don't see a reason to remake the 3rd generation games.

I actually thought this was really and was hyped because the worm Pokemon.
Now I realized it not real but fan made because it isn't 3d graphic.
I feel embarrassed because I told my sister and little brother about it when I thought it was real.

It all right, there are obvious/common animals that haven't been turned into Pokemon yet. I do like the worm it's the reason why I got overexcited.

Haven't you seen the DNA symbol on the japanese X Y logos? X Y would be related to DNA.
DNA also have cromosome W and Z so... expect to have 2 more main legendaries

I would find it more likely that XY have to do with the coordinates in space. The X/Y/Z axis. This would be a reference to the new 3D features. Not to mention the X legendary appears to be the terrestrial one while the Y legend flies.

This makes sense too, Y is vertical coordinate and X horizontal.... but I still think that they're DNA-related pokemon because of the DNA symbol of the japanese logos

I actually disagree, a few of the elements they added for the sake of plot was unnecessary but if you paid attention to how the story played out you'd notice it is surprisingly familiar. Giovanni was defeated by some kid then years later when he returns with team rocket he gets his rear kicked repeatedly, this is similar to how Ghetisis who was using N had been defeated by the protagonist then when he makes a comeback two years later he gets his rear kicked again. It is not that the games were divided but more like they were a part of the same time line, chances are it would be too much data to write to a single game anyway so they made a second game as a follow up in the "years later" scenario. Besides I think they needed an answer as to what was Ghetisis up to.

Well then they would have to make us wait and they might have wanted to please the customer base so they released it sooner. Something else to consider is the time line, what would happen to your pokemon if you finished the first part of the story but then had to complete the second part as a new trainer all over from the beginning? Would you lose your pokemon? Would you have a different save file (or slot) for the second part? They would have to change the game mechanics entirely for that to work.

I'd say it was very necessary. Having two separate versions encourages trading and interacting with other people. If it's one game, there's lots less incentive to trade.

thats true, but lots of pk players always played alone and that makes them buy both games, instead of one. (thats acutally good for nintendo)

HOLY CRAP! Another new generation already? I thought it would be at least a couple more years.
I really like the way the starters look though, they look better than the GEN 5 starters in my opinion. There's something about them that looks more pokemonish if that makes any sense. I can't wait to see what the other pokemon will be like. X and Y seem very promising, I hope they're good.

Haha yeah I guess pokemon games follow the hardware and the hardware changes so often now that generations won't last as long.
