hey there! More contest stuff coming! this is my entry for and I'm really happy with the result!Art Contest - Brushstroke with Your OC
It's time for another Contest!
I think, the Theme should be clear?! ;D
If you have the interest to take part,
simply draw a picture of Brushstroke with one or more of your OCs.

So the theme for the contest was to draw your OC with Brushstroke, and conveniently enough both Brushstroke and Motion Spark are artists ponies so I knew very quick that there had to be a colorful mess all over the place! colors everywhere, and this is what it turned out. I really like the concept of 'teaming up' level hardcore and using their long tails to splatter paint everywhere.
The outcome was really cool and the texture gave the drawing a more real theme to it, it's also the second time I experiment my new style and I'm liking it so far.

Well honestly.. idk how else to improve..
Nobody likes me stuff when I don't do bases, so I'm kinda stuck with that.
Otherwise I don't really have a style.
So I guess I'm kinda not worthy of a art trade.. compared to you and all.

you kinda make me sound like a villain, I really don't want to hurt your feelings, but saying that you have to improve doesn't mean that you can't get better, heck just look at my old drawings from 2012, they're nothing compared to what I do now, still I even have older pony drawings on my computer that looked horrible!
The thing is, you can do it if you work hard at it, you can check how other traditional artists do their stuff, I'm telling you traditional art can be as good or even better than digital art if you do it right. If you want to achieve it you have to work to the bone and wring yourself like if you were a lemon.

maybe you haven't pushed yourself harder enough. You wanna watch the show more often sketch ponies in different poses and try to mimic other artist's techniques in traditional medium, you would be surprised how good using colored pencils can be!

I know you chose the texture for the sake of the theme, but I really, really enjoy it. I hope that you decide to continue drawing in this style, it's definitely one of my favorites so far!

Indeed! I didn't use the same texture as this old artwork:
because I'm so lame I don't remember where did I put it :/ ...but I really liked the effect of the texture on that old one so much that I wanted something similar as well for this one so I picked at least a similar looking texture because I have too many and I don't remember where are they xD
