Description 1967 Mercury Cougar "Maggie the Merc." inside her temporary home, waiting to get her engine and transmission removed to make way for the new floorboards, and so we can get her running! I might be doing a photo-shoot with someone at some point soon, and I can't wait for that! And yes, Maggie will look like this during the shoot, hopefully with the door on!

Looks great! I'm glad to see her home and undercover... I'll have to take a similar pic if/when I get the 1961 Fiat 600 Abarth and 1978 Dodge Magnum projects I plan to buy soon...

I will see if that '61 T-bird and its parts cars are still at Scott & Sons next time I inquire about the '78 Magnum...

Thanks! The projects will also come with parts cars (rusty 1958 600 and fire-damaged 1979 Magnum) that will be stripped and taken down the road to the scrapyard... the Fiat *may* come along in the summer or fall with the Dodge Magnum following it.

How are you going to drag all that junk to Vegas????

I'm going to cram the stripped-off 600 and Magnum parts in and around the Abarth in a box trailer with our personal effects, some of which will also be crammed into the Magnum. We will be purging a bunch of stuff too.. the parts cars will go to Schnitzer Steel once all the usable parts are sold off or reused. The Abarth will need seats, some trim and an engine off the lime-green Fiat, possibly other things.

The problem will be getting the Abarth stored until we can find permanent housing.

Storage? Just put it in the kitchen cupboard!

Sounds like a good idea. My neighbors will probably lose their marbles when they see the four cars being reduced to two...

I had a 1990 cougar. I hated that thing.

Rockin' an 87' 'Stang now~
