Description
Inspired by BukowskiHis full poem, which I do not own the rights to but none the less wish to share for educational reasons, and remain happy to remove if people get annoyed;
the harder you try
the waste of words
continues with a stunning
persistence
as the waiter runs by carrying the loaded
tray
for all the wise white boys who laugh at
us.
no matter. no matter,
as long as your shoes are tied and nobody is walking too close
behind.
just being able to scratch yourself and
be nonchalant is victory
enough.
those constipated minds that seek larger meaning
will be dispatched with the other
garbage.
back off.
if there is a light
it will find
you.

Nice patterns ! It's an interesting drawing with lots of details. This poem has good wisdom in it, just like the figure of the owl's head. I don't know if I would be correct saying that, but the that frame around the owl's head is like some kind of isolation or protection against the weird shapes/creatures all around. As if his wisdom or inner thoughts were protecting him.

Thank you.
I definately see the owl as a sign of clarity and vision in a noisy environment.
The poem touches on this too, the idea of there being alot of noise out there and taking a step back to realise that the comfort you experience is something to be grateful for.
I don't want to say too much as I don't like messing with peoples interpretations.
Bukowski as a poet was a monster with a beautiful mind. For every terrible thing he did in life, his poems can offer real clarity and a sense of perspective. So long as your shoes are tied and noone is too close....
Thank you for your thoughts and words, I really do appreciate it.
