By the way whats different between YF-24 and your VF-24. Also how's its capabilities compared to VF-25, VF-27, YF-29 and YF-30?

The VF-24 Oracle is a license built version of the VF-24 Evolution in service in small numbers on Earth. It's been equipped with canards and an operating system similar to the VF-19's rather than the 24. Very technically, it's a monkey model which isn't as good as the Evolution, but the Oracle's capabilities are somewhere between the 25 and the 29.

I'm glad you liked it! The design itself is based on the YF-24 from Macross Frontier that only appeared on a screen.

The only full lineart that I had to go off of was the top-down view on the left that I modded for this piece. Everything else is based on that. It can be kind of fun to make it all work, honestly!

I see it uses a 58mm gun? that is huuuuge caliber! I think it is even higher than the VF-1's (VF-1s use 55mm; VF-11s use 30mm cannons, same that BSG's Vipers

Yep! It uses an experimental version of the VF-25's GU-17 that fires 58mm!

Still the VF-25's weren't mass produced at the time of Macross Frontier, but I guess humanity will get enough understanding and resources (thanks to expansion) to mass-make those bullets now.

Another option is that VF-11's were most used in fleets like Macross7, were all the force was made by human pilots; but fleets like Frontier has it's main force were originally drones. Maybe that can be a part of the reason. But you are rgiht, it is anyone's guess
