Well, folks, here we are on the last day of 2021! Just for fun, here's a picture of all the models I made this year, excluding any models that were given as gifts, of course.

I had two overarching themes that most of my models this year followed. First, I wanted to make more characters who were blue or prominently featured the color blue, since it is a color I use surprisingly infrequently in my model making endeavors. Second, I have an infinitely long list of characters I've been meaning to make or re-make for ages, so I tried hard to finally check some of the longest standing characters off that list this year. This was also a year heavy on anniversaries I wanted to commemorate with models. Pepper Roni, Waldo C. Graphic, Sonic, DK, Mickey Mouse and AiAi were all made to celebrate anniversaries.

In the end, though 2021 turned out to be another long and challenging year overall, I do feel it was one of my strongest years yet for making models. Thanks for all your views and kind comments. I hope you all have a safe and happy new year!
