She's Ret-2-Go!

It's Shantae, the hair-whipping half-genie hero of Sequin Land! Shantae follows Mario and Sonic as my third tiny little model made to resemble a blend of in-game sprites and various promotional art that I like. In this case, Shantae is largely based on her appearances in Risky's Revenge and Pirate's Curse, with a little inspiration drawn from the original game in the series as well. Shantae stands just over 4 inches tall.

And, of course, her signature ponytail is exaggerated just a hair from its already impressive length so it could touch the ground. Otherwise, she would just tip over backwards!

Mario and Sonic were both made to celebrate anniversaries, and Shantae here is no different, as the series celebrates its 20th anniversary later this year. But I couldn't wait that long to show her off, since I'm super pleased with how fun she turned out!
