"'well I will say this...'" the same change to the top of the tower in the midst of a dark and foreboding storm... Mason could see four figures standing before him and two flying in the air...

"' You will not like it...'"

The figures that stood before Mason were Steve, Alex, Smith, and Orchid. Jay was gliding in the air on a pair of elytra with another unnamed hero... And they were facing off against the 'hero' that destroyed the spruce village...

Mason watched as Orchid's group talked...

"Why did you do this?!" Shouted Steve first "Drake, why did you cast that spell?!"

"To make the villagers stronger..." Stated Drake with a smile"... They needed a way to protect themselves."

"Not like this!" It was Alex's turn "You hurt countless people with that spell!"

"They were just... Unprepared for the outcome..." Drake stated "I did take their children in, the ones that did have children anyway..."

"You mean you enslaved them." Steve stated "what you've done is a heinous crime that only has one penalty... Death."

Mason was so confused...

"Awe, you make me sound like such a criminal... But it's too late I've erased the minds of everyone that is not on this Tower of everything that I have done and you have no proof..." He smiled "no one will know the truth of how I created the illagers from villagers."

"Now, all I need is that last little BRAT you five are protecting and my mission will be complete..."

Mason had so many more questions to ask... "He created Illagers? How? I thought they had been around for generations... What was he planning? And why does he need Orchid?"

As he thought this, the fight between the group and Drake started... Jay got close, flying in the sky with his crossbow, aiming firework arrows at Drake "Time to blast that smirk off your face!" Jay smiled as he got ready....

Only to be shot by three flying arrows...

Drake smirked as Jay fell from the sky, quickly followed by the unnamed hero who flew after the falling lifeless body.

Mason now understood what happened to Jay... But what about...
"Orchid, Watch-out!!"
Mason heard THWACK, THWACK, THWACK! And saw that Smith used his body as a shield to protect Orchid from the arrows aimed at her...

"Smith..." She was in shock
"Orchid, I've loved you... since the day you came to the village... I wanted to tell you that... for so long, but I believe you already knew..." Smith said as he kept a tight hold on Orchid.

"let me... Be your shield... Don't... Hold... Back...." He held her tight in his final breath.

She let loose a powerful scream of pain as her power surged, causing the rest of the fighters to stop... She began to summon something powerful...
