CrescentTrinity part 32 {Finale} (this is the final comic page in the series and later I will start up the new one... Sorry if the ending feels a little rushed but it mostly would have been all action so it's one comic page.)

Years later the group walks up to a very mysterious Tower with two famous heroes by their side.

"Well, this is it." Mason chuckled.
"Our final stand." Stated Orchid with a smile.

"And we have lived to fight this day, let's make it count." Stated Jay as he readied his rockets.

The two heroes couldn't understand what the villagers were saying, but they were prepared to face their fellow 'fallen hero' for his crimes on the land...

They were glad to have some comrades on their side...

As their fight started at the top of the tower, arrows flew...

One hit orchid in the leg and in the abdomen, she started a chant for a spell to heal them. Smith took an arrow to the arm as he rated his shield that Mason had handed him before the fight telling him his main goal is to protect Orchid as she readies her spells...

Jay gave them aerial cover preventing moms of the air from swooping down and hitting them, showing he had a natural talent with gliders.

The two heroes fought the remaining mobs to keep the Villager and Pillager safe, showing great skills in their swordmanship and arrows...

Mason himself led the charge against the 'fallen hero', having memories of all that he had done in the past timeline as well as this timeline, ready to let loose... And finally bring all of the suffering to an end. Not just for Orchid, but for everyone who had suffered...

... under the hands of this maniac. Mason had intended for his final strike to kill the 'fallen hero', but he moved so close to the towers edge... that when Orchid let loose the spell to heal everyone, it sent a shockwave that sent the fallen hero to his final end.

Not planned, but it worked. With the villain finally slain and stopped in his tracks the group of six returned to the little makeshift cottage to rest and recuperate. After the big ordeal, the heroes decided to help with fixing up the villagers that had assisted them...

"OW! Jay that really hurt!" Cried Smith trying not to flinch.
"Sorry Smith, wasn't attending for it to hurt..." Apologize Jay as he held the arrow in his hand, having removed it fully from Smith's arm.

Orchid steadied herself, having ate a golden apple... ready for the hero tending to her to pull the arrow out of her abdomen. Mason was quick to rush over to her side, ignoring the other hero's plea to stand still so he can tend to his cuts and wounds.

After the remaining evenings festivities and healing, Mason walked over to Orchid's bed and sat down...

Both heroes talked with each other, Mason was unable to understand what they were saying... But he could have sworn he heard one of the heroes mentioned a 'spell was cast'...

And 'their lives will never be the same' on top of 'no one but the six of us will remember this'...

At this point Mason didn't care, they could finally live their lives without worry and start anew in a new village...

As he fell asleep next to Orchid's bed, he felt at peace...

... for the first time and what feels like forever... Deep down he felt he finally had something to protect, something worth more than all the emeralds in the world... More rare than neitherite...

Jay...
Smith...
Orchid...

Those were his treasures... His friends and sister...

And he would not let anything disrupt their little family ever again....

(Working on backstories for all the evil characters, was planning for the evil to be within our main four but... Bringing them from an alternate plane/world sounds a bit more fun don't y'all think? 😈 )
