Well this stranger came into town and threatened to take it over but waigered with the mayor that the first to finish a quart of beer (or a large quantity that I forgot) wins the town. The mayor guzzles the whole beer in one gulp and saves the town...so they made a kookoo clock that has two guys that come out and guzzle beer.
