Description
I initially wanted to do some kind of branching evolution based on the Pokémon gender similar to Wurmple, so in addition there would be a male evolution that would be more of a night blooming flower-vibe, but I couldn't seem to think up a good idea, so I just stuck with these two. Assumedly this would be an all female gendered Pokémon.

The original idea was another offshoot of an Inktober drawing that I liked a lot. I reworked it quite a bit to make it completely unique and more of a Pokémon than the original drawing.

Conceptually, I thought the idea of a specific threat in the form of an Arena Trap Pokemon was really interesting. They are something that requires preparation to deal with and can be a huge problem if you're not ready.
