*PSA: Dryer fur/matted plushies still deserve love!!*
I have so many plushies with dryer fur, mainly from my childhood. I love them lots!
I got this girl at a swap meet in late 2019. Her fur was in perfect shape, not even a spec of heat damage. I machine washed her, and only planned on putting her in the dryer for 10-15 mins. I've done that with other long furred plushies before and they've been perfectly fine. But before I knew it, the dryer was already done, and I realized my horrible mistake. Of course, she was incredibly matted. I was pretty bummed that I let that happen, but I've come to love her just the way she is! She reminds me of my childhood collie plush, who also got matted in the dryer. I'll be sure to post her very soon!
