Actually, vomit isn't an illness, it's a way to expel un-digestible waste from the body, more the purge of the stomach's contents. illnesses commonly induce vomiting, however it's a process that has nothing to do with illness.

one question, why do you never try to actually animate the legs?

I know it'll sound cliche, but I don't usually feel like animating the legs, unless it's for a good scene that I feel can be animated with leg movements.
