Kyle's Black Spider-Man, D.O.B. 12/10/08This was a commission piece for my best over seas customer in the UK. Pretty fun custom, dont think I have made a black spidey yet. Check out the recipe below, might surprise ya.
Head - Moonknight cast with sculpted eyes (apoxie sculpt)
Upper torso, arms, and lower legs - ML red hulk wave Black Spidey
knees and Thighs - Snap Shot Spidey
Web Accessory - Animated black spidey
Sculpted lat muscles and repainted most of him, trying not to touch the white, I really didn't want to paint the damn logo again..hehe

Spider-man is almost required to be mega posable. Good job with this custom.
Also, is that the iridescent paint that changes color depending on the angle? If so, that's genius.

great painting. not convinced on the head but i know thats the mvc style. Not many spiderman figures have a great head though.

Thanks, its a take it or leave it look for sure, but its my personal fave look and a quit popular one. might even say its sort of the mcfarlane look as well (my fave)

I liked the head and them thighs. How hard was it to not paint over the chest symbol, scraping off mistakes much?

It wasn't hard to avoid the symbol, but I de repaint some of it (yes, I could have scraped it off too)

Ah the UK guy, coolz. Still trying to figure out what to do with the Red Hulk wave figs myself, Deadpool out of Jack is a given but the others not so much.
