Hell yeah, I finally managed to draw something!

And this time, it's something very different, as I finally have a drawing tablet! That is why the lineart looks like it got a downgade, I'm learning to tame that giant beast and Krita (tho I might move to SAI sometimes soon). I have to say, I'm quite happy with the result! I think it's not bad for a first try, and I haven't had THIS much fun drawing in YEARS!

Of course, it's FAR from perfect, but I'm still very pleased with myself. I hope to be more productive in the future!

So, about the drawing itself!

Here's a little personal headcanon on what these three specific Skeks looked like back when they were young. There's a lot of evidence that the Skeksis used to be floofy (for example, SkekSa being the queen of floof and of course SkekUng being all fuzzy even when old), and I decided to exploit that idea.

I'm also using Jim's idea that the Skeksis are of both sexes and decided to make them look very androgynous. Tbh, I'm not Non-Binary but this is such a huge goal pfft.

I also kind of took liberties with their coat of fur/feathers. SkekVar is based of a bald eagle, SkekSil is a vulture, and SkekSo is a raven. C'mon, it makes sense!

As for what happens in the scene...

Just the dawn of Sil and Var's age old rivalry, with the Chamberlain trying to convince SkekSo that SkekVar the Ambassador (yeah he was Ambassador at the time) is untrustworthy. However, the Emperor seems... Distracted. XD

Sorry SkekSil, he's too handsome for this little trick to work. You'll win, one day.
