Basic sheet; wanted to have it out of my system XD

Chompups are highly social creatures, and their diet consists in absolutely everything and anything. They are as big as middle-sized dog and very cuddly (and warm!). They can carry/wear accessories but they have to be heat-proof!

Diet: They have no teeth, instead their upper lips are hardened and mimic them. Chompups can't chew their food. They need to be fed small pieces. They eat metal, rock, wood, organic material and pretty much anything. Their digestive system works with fire and lava. They burn and desintegrate what they eat. Excess heat, steam and sometimes also smoke is expelled through their 6 ventils. They don't poop. Whatever can't be desintegrated within a certain amount of time is spit out in a puddle of smoking hot lava.

Trunk: at the tip it can have a certain shape or not (e.g. heart, star, etc.). There are lots of little sensors that the Chompup uses to investigate the ground for food. The underside of the trunk is hardened skin. With the flexible trunk it gets the pieces of food into its mouth.

Tongue: the tongue is covered in little spikes facinng backwards, like a cat's. That way a Chompup can lick the ground and eat small things, like insects, pebbles, leaves, etc.

Nostrils: The nub with the breathing holes are always facing backwards. That way if they dig for food, they can use their trunk and mouth without worrying to breath in dust or particles. They can't breath through their mouth (thus don't sneeze, cough or yawn). Breathing in particles can be dangerous for them. Inside of the nubs are various lines of hairs that filter the air they breath. The first ventil on the neck is internally connected to the nub. They can channel steam with high pressure through the nostrils to expell dirt. This will cause the nub to spit a steam cloud, and the Chompup will shake its head repeatedly to get it all cleaned.

Eyes: they have a nictitating membrane, or third eyelid. It moves horizontally and it's mostly transparent. It protects the eye from dust and debris.

Skin: their neck and underbelly has very elastic skin resembling a whale's. This allows it to stretch when it eats a lot.

Sugar is a no-no! Sugary and similar substances that get sticky when exposed to heat shouldn't be fed to your Chompup! They will block the ventils and maybe even the breathing holes. When this happens the only solution is to give it a lot of water to drink so it can clean itself with steam and high pressure. If the ventils get completely blocked, your Chompup might explode!

Colors: there are only three rules about the colors:
1. it needs 2 base colors, split horizontally or vertically. The line between the two doesn't need to be perfect. It can change within stripes, dots or even be a short degradé. It should just be clear that the body is split in half by the 2 colors.
2. at least 2 colors must be of different hues. This means that even if you want your Chompup to be colored in various tones of red (for example), it will have to have at least one marking or colored spot with a totally different color, like blue, green, yellow, etc.
3. the eye color must be present somewhere else on the body. Even if it's only the rim of the ear or the tip of the tail, the eye color can't be a new color (also counts for heterochromata; both colors must be present somewhere on the body).
Note: the elastic skin parts are a lighter or darker tone of the base color and they count as base, not marking.

Your Chompup can feature (realistic) horns, spikes, scales and manes! (The ventil areas must be clear though.)
The things not allowed are: wings; paws or hooves; whiskers; extra ears, eyes, tails, ventils, legs; a different tongue than depicted; antlers and fantasy horns; feathers; different nub shape; luminous body parts; only 1 or 3+ base colors. These are reserved for legendary Chompups, also called Chompbeasts. To get these special traits, be on the lookout for adoptables.
