Actually I also often had similar experience like you (certainly I don't have wake up at 4am - what do you do? Why do you need to get up so early?) . So I always keep telling myself, "this is just your hobby, good sleeping is more important. " But the fact is that I still often go to bed late for this "hobby",

i have a long drive to work because i have to drive into the city π
like you, i try to get to bed early, but i'm apparently very good at loosing track of time π
