Description "That's an annoying little Kuriboh..."

So, this is my first comic of ponies without any external reference! Yay me! But also, it was bound to disaster, i forget Pegasus have wings... i'll add them latter -3-

Edit: There! Wings and all, except cutie-mark, its from when 'Cruel didn't have earn hers.

Um, technically summoning the little furball would make it impossible to activate its effect. Kuriboh can only cancel out the damage you take if you discard it from you Hand when you would lose Life Points in battle.

Now Winged Kuriboh, on the other hand, has the effect of negating any damage you would have taken when it's destroyed in battle. So the winged furball's effect is useful only if you summon it.

Of course, the anime made stuff up about it, but then again the anime pretty much never followed the card game's actual rules.

Yeah, and some of the stuff they came up with made me wonder how much lube they needed to pull that rule out of their asses. Especially the duels in the virtual world.

I'm honestly surprised that the Abridged Series didn't make a joke about that one when they did that episode (considering all the other "Screw the rules" jokes they made, although ironically the "summon a bunch of monsters in one turn" thing the first episode did didn't actually happen in the source material)...

Well, it seems to be the antagonists who pull that sort of thing, considering it was Kaiba who named the trope about using money to screw the rules. (haven't really watched the Abridged Series, mind you).

Its effect is that if you discard it from your hand during an opponent's Battle Phase, all damage you would have taken from their attack is negated. This makes it very useful if you're in a tight spot.
