So after an epic eventful day with with her burping every five seconds and us doing voice memes and me singing I'll make a man out of you, a challenge arrived.
It has been established that I am the laziest person on earth. According to my friends, I exert 0.000001% of capability. And so Tima was annoying me the entire time about it.
Me: "I'LL MAKE A FULL DRAWING WITH PATIENCE."
Tima: "Suuuure you will"
Me: "I WILL"
Tima: "suuure"
She was having fun doing that
So, anyway, I spilled blood and sweat not literally to try and draw something.

That...that is one HUGE robe...and it looks like it's torn in a number of places...holy crap dude I almost feel bad for the guy. XD Good job though, I like the staff!

I will put a critique in for what it's worth (take it or leave it). IMO i do not understand this redundant chaos taking place in half of the image. It doesn't logically fit in my mind as a dress, it has no structure, and most of the 'folds' aren't even connected just 'floating' for no particular reason.
I couldnt tell that that was a dragon or creature behind the figure until i zoomed in and saw a nostril (the eye doesn't even stand out to me). I also dont really get why the figure is lighter than the folds. The focal point doesn't seem to be concrete. There are too many gestalt principles either lacking or clashing in this piece.
i do not care that this got a DD (forget those that whine about it). This being featured on such a large level brought the piece to my attention for praise and critique. I've looked at the rest of your gallery and imo, again, i feel there were 2-3 much better than this one (though props for someone suggesting as it's a good opportunity for everyone to take part in da community). Some of the ones i enjoy more are [link] (though i realize it's most recent), [link] (lovely colors, but i'm partial for semi-realism like rendering 
It's clear that you have talent, you're progressing with each piece, and you're experimenting with various styles. This, however, doesn't do you justice. Again, that's my opinion

This, along with the rest of the series, is beautiful, creative, and sharp. The way you constructed this must've taken determination and focus. It truly is worthy of a daily deviation. I commend you and your work.

I really, really love the cell shading in this piece, its amazing how the textures and flow of the dress(?) can be explicitly depicted with a few blocks of solid color!

It's hard to tell a clean and clear-cut picture of the dress, but as the suggester says, the lines are certainly crisp and it can be really appreciated as abstract rather than literately focusing on the character design/clothing.

everyone can tell their opinion, cant they? to me it's just randomly put lines to fill empty spaces, everyone could do it. it just looks like one big mess, i dont see details here at all, just random triangles that dont even look aesthetic at all.

I dont normally comment on these things but since it was already brought up, I have to side with what jolt originally said: It's a cool art and all, but you can't make out what is going on at all. I have trouble even deciphering what all those lines are supposed to be.
And I think that DA rule was targetted more for flamers or people that were honestly trying to bring the artist down. Jolt was, in my opinion, merely stating their wonderment at the choice. They didn't say the picture sucked, they didn't call it crap, and they didn't belittle the artist at all. Infact, they complimented the piece.
It is a very nice way to opinion and also offers insight to the image as opposed to those just saying "Good job" or people saying "This is shit."
If I am going to receive a comment on my works, I'd rather someone tell me why they think it needs help instead of someone saying "Cool" or "Sucks".

as you said: i just showed my opinion about what i think about it being a daily deviation and yeah i in fact was wondering WHY this deviation. i have nothing against it, like the idea and how it was made (the pic is something different to what i have seen) but there is nothing THAT special in it after all to get DD for it D:
i myself prefer comments that actually say the truth about image rather than something that actually isnt lie, but isnt 100% honest, it doesnt help the artist to improve their work.
for example comments like 'this is amazing' or 'this is ugly', okay. but what the hell is amazing/ugly in this art, why cant you be more precise about it so i can fix it.
although DD lasts only for like one day and it kind of helps other artists to get more famous and make them happy for at least one day and stuff but i still think the dA rule is just pointless since everyone is going to say their opinion and if dA staffs were giving away an account bans for it it would be really retarded lol.

Yes they can, but a opinion are thoughts on a subject matter, this being the subject but calling it "one big mess" is insulting to the artist, while it is still a opinion it shouldn't be said just by being clearly mean.
The world isn't made up of rainbows and candy canes n everything nice I know this, but shouldn't this person be allowed alittle happiness for his/her work without someone assaulting it and saying its not worth a DD? If you didn't like it than why did you post in the first place? (oh right to Flame...)

I think you fail to see that Jolteonik was just trying to make a point in the first place as opposed to insulting the artist or whatever. I can agree that it is hard to make our the picture as the structure of it is very difficult to make out and I do not think that it is trying to ruin the artist's happiness if they think that it is not deserving for a DD.
I think you should consider that possibly there aren't just a type of person who wants to celebrate with the artist and the type who want to undermine someone elses success at every opportunity, but there are also all the people in between who are just offering their opinion, whether they are good or bad.
TL;DR just lay off a bit, man.
