I agree with everything you said. Driving and texting is suicidal/homicidal. Though I do text in classes, but only when I can manage a pause when I'm writing down every word my teacher utters.

So much agreed. I almost never use cells either, even though you maybe do more than me but, hey I'm usually closeted up in my room for hrs upon hrs so, I pretty much have nothing better to do.

I dislike cell phones so much now I want to burn them 
My cousins were the first experience of cellphone abuse for me. They challenged me to a game of SSBB, saying they were the champions at it and all that. I accepted and just two minutes after we started, they were clicking on their phones and not paying attention to the game. I was ready to throw it against the wall >_>
Also, I sat at a red light once. It was the people in the turning lane's time to go and three people in a row were talking on their phones while driving *_* Really? While driving? What's so important that you have to say it while driving? Cuz if it's about your cat or how you couldn't find your favorite shoe, I've got a nice big rock for your face to meet.
It just drives me nuts >_> Especially your second to last part of this How-To. I go out with friends to eat sometimes and they text on their phones while doing so. I feel rudely ignored because they're the ones who invited me to go out with them in the first place. It's like hello, can you pay attention to the person who's actually there, sitting infront of you? Otherwise I'm gunna leave and see how long it takes you to notice.

I absolutely agree with that. Plus, nowadays they're cameras, video cameras, internet browsers, email browsers, art tools, GPSs, televisions, and microwaves. Oh, and you can talk on them too.
In my state, there's a law about texting and driving, though people still do it.

It's really common for people up here to use cell phones as home phones cause the home phone lines up here SUCK and are always out cause of storms I guess, or they're on dialup xD

This is an issue big time. My father tends to disregard the 5th step here, and it drives me nuts (he sometimes talks/texts while he drives... I keep on telling him to "STFU!!1!" and he never does. Way to risk your kid's lives, pop).
I normally use texting more than calling, because the plan we have has unlimited text and all that jazz. It's great for "Is my math book at home?" or "Should I pick up eggs?", stuff like that, but I at least make use of my fancy keypad to cram correct grammar and spelling into that 160 character brick.

Oh, and this is serious, my step-father has seeing problems, and he shouldn't really be driving in the first place, but when he does, and he's at a red-light, he'll pull out his cell-phone, and read text messages. It scares the hell out of me when he does that, because, sure, if I'm there, I can say, "GO!" But what happens if someone's not there, and he gets killed or something? He also sometimes driving real fast, and swerving around, but that's a completely different story. He's not a real good driver, at all...
