Just a short animation I made for the Tumblr Lapidot Tuesday prompt this week “Nighttide” (night time). When I read the prompt, it sparked an idea within me.
A fireworks show is taking forever to start, making Peridot rather irritated; Lapis’s first thoughts are that she is mad at her. Communication is the key to this small, age-old relationship dilemma.

Me: None of this would be physically possible. If I were to tell anyone about this they would call me crazy or have me put into an asylum with intense therapy.

Me: Well I think we are on what Gems would call 'Homeworld'... But I am human so I don't know much about Gems other than they are magical beings that are made of light with a Gem at the core at they're being.

Easy, easy. Your gem could've been cracked in a number of ways. The most likely factor is that, simply put, the War for Earth never happened in your time.
Rose could've convinced the others to not attack Earth...they could've stayed as the four of the Diamond Authority...Or...

Well, both options have their ups and downs. You stay here, there's a chance your three pals over there could talk Yellow Diamond into not turning your head into a decorative bowl. And if you go back....there's a chance you might've worked with Rose during the war, and she'll recognize you as one of her own troops.
But that's not a decision I'm making.
