Burger Rex is the leading chain of fast food restaurants in the city. Their food is considered to be the most worthwhile meal you'll ever have. If you can catch it, that is. Most customers leave hungrier than they came, because the menu is so elusive. When it comes down to it, fast food requires a fast predator.

So I was talking to a bunch of friends online and one of them mentioned Raptor-Anthros. I've tried them before, but I've never been too good with reptiles. Especially anthro-reptiles. At the same time, I was thinking I hadn't tried a dino in well over a year and I had a couple hours to kill until my next class, so I started drawing.

I suppose when inspiration strikes...

but, yes. There is a background. (Da da da DAA!) Mostly because after I finished the character, I still had about an hour until class started and I didn't want to use up too many pages of my new sketch book too fast.

I don't know a lot about dino anatomy and I'm sure I'm off on a lot of things. I was at school (without my laptop) so I had no references, anyway. I did base the picture on an image of a "Utahraptor" I saw some time ago. I'm not much of a fan of feathery raptors. XP

As for the character, himself....I think I'll call him Hunter X3

And obviously "Burger Rex" is a parody of Burger King XD
