This is ingenious and as a fan of Assassin's Creed, it's awesome. Though I wonder... why can't a game like Assassin's Creed V (just saying) take place with futuristic assassins.

because that would kinda ruin ubisofts whole animus plot device. not that i wouldnt love to play an ac game set in only one time period.

I consider ACIV my favorite of all the AC games though I wish there was one involving Samurai.

the reason ac4 is so awesome is because most of us did not know what to expect after the disappointing ac3. ac4 finally breathed some fresh air for the series

Not to mention the Abstergo stuff was downplayed a bit, we get a stronger protagonist (Edward, so badass) and this game made you feel like a god damn pirate... and it's awesome.

edward's emotional have a proper impact too, unlike ac3 where it felt half-assed and a bit corny
