I'm actually quite happy with this!
Mind you, i have to say the wings were a pain in the ass and black is a very boring colour.
it has flaws, but i think its quite good for a first attempt.
Next time i'm going to do something with more colour.=]
Jedda is a character from a story i'v got in my head right now, and will probably never end up on paper. Oh well.

Jedda's been flying around my head for ages - just had to put her down on paper.
Mind you, although i love her, black can be such a BORING colour to paint!

I just find it annoying to paint, not to mention difficult
because it can't be too dark or you can't see the lines
and it can't be too light or it looks grey.

I dunno if you've noticed it, but I find that many dragon characters on DA look fairly similar, mainly where the artists have been 'inspired' by the more popular people (mentioning no names, of course). So it's nice to see a bit of originality for a change
I really like how you drew her wings, and the closeups of her feathers. It's great that she isn't too colourful either, it makes her seem more natural...
