I think it's retro something action, there's actions around here for Photoshop that could achieve the same effect. Just experiment with curves.

As a self-portrait, how was this done? Do you set a timer then take a pose? Or does some one assist you? It is a beautiful image, the second window, framing the book shelves, really adds to the overall picture. You deserve the "favorites" and views. SMF

It is quite simple, I set the timer to 10 seconds, use a tripod and then do a lot of poses. Then use the best one. I always rely on settings. Settings create a certain mood. And with experience and practice you learn stuff
