I don't. I've never seen an actual home education that compares to real school. Most of the time I meet someone who's been home schooled, it's clear they've missed a LOT of educational milestones.
I give Steven the benefit of the doubt because clearly he did get a good education, at least somewhat. He knows how to read and write easily, and if you can use the internet effectively or go to the library often enough, then maybe you can make up the difference on your own. Still, Steven himself doesn't count because he's fictional.
I'd rather fix the system and make school a better place to be than glorify home schooling.
