Tievar is a god. The god of Light and Life. He's able to cleanse infected minds and drive away the influence of his unnamed enemy, the god of Darkness and Death. After their eternal battle he had to flee badly wounded and in order to survive he had to possess a living body. In that night the only living thing near was Danny, so he escaped into his sould to be able to survive and heal.
