Sweet mother of all..I really haven't done any rangers in quite a while! To be fair, the toku art scene has been on bit of decline in recent months so I've go onto ponies and other crap. I guess I should still try to keep a light out for whom ever might be interested in original art of this genre. If this gal looks a lot like every other ranger I've designed; it's because I'm trying to put all my eggs in one basket and do a team(s) based on several ideas from my other teams.

So I present the first concept art for Power Rangers: Tactical Response Force. It takes some inspiration from Knight Rider and Gobuster

The TRF is a international program to handle various threats of a certain degree in which normal military tactics prove to be less than ideal (i.e giant monsters, space amoebas, evil super-powered dictators, etc.). TRF has many branches and internal programs, but the face of the operation are the power ranger teams. There are three basic teams, Alpha , Beta, and Omega. These teams are only for division purposes are not based on hierarchy of skill. The each member of the team is paired with an AI partner/friend and is assigned a color/animal combination.

The person in the suit above is Eve Smith, a straight-out-of-college graduate who signed on with the TRF and was later chosen to be a ranger. She is the red ranger of the Beta team. Her AI partner is Dominic, who takes the form of a Can-am roadster. Their symbol is that of the red jungle cat.
