Map of my alternate Code Geass world, before the destruction of the Holy Britannian Empire by the Russian getmanate, 2009 a.t.b.

The nations of the Americas are united by the Holy Britannian Empire of the Americas. It was an absolute monarchy led by Charles III, Emperor of Britannia and King of Great Britain. He favors the Purist Party of the Imperial Parliament, and favors expansion of national borders and Social Darwinism. Conquered territories are called sovereign areas, and each conquered people is designated by number: [e.g. Area 3 is the former Mexican Empire, conquered by 1910 a.t.b.] It's capital is Pendragon, formerly Phoenix, Arizona.

The Oceanian Commonwealth of Nations is the remnant of the former British Empire. It was in theory controlled by the monarch and is an Imperial Federation, but now a coalition called the National Front control the government. The National Front is led by the English Socialists and the Nordic Flame Party, and the National Party in South Africa and the Eureka Front in Australia. It wanted the traitors in the New World to be assimilated to Oceania. It's capital is London. It's leader is Prime Minister Enosh Morley, the leader of the English Socialists and called "Big Brother" by friends and the public, deriving power from Elise, Queen of Great Britain of the house of Tudor-Bonaparte.

The East Asian Front, led by the Chinese Federation, is a block of nations led by China. It was in theory led by the Empresses, but actual policies are led by the Council of Ministers called the "High Eunuchs". They never liked Britannia, Oceania, Korea, and Japan. It is the most populous of the nations save Oceania [due to holding India], but many of its population still live in poverty. Groups exist, funded by the CF's enemies, as well as movements in the Chinese satellite states, to overthrow Eunuch rule. It's capital is Luoyang.

The Korean State, capital Seoul, is a neutral state, becoming a buffer nation by China and Japan. It had a technology level equal to Japan's, and both nations resent it. It was allied with China but is never a part of the East Asian front. It's leader is Prime Minister Won Geong-lee.

The State of Japan is a parliamentary constitutional monarchy by Prime Minister Genbu Kururugi. It had th 70% of Sakuradite production, and it was used to blackmail other nations, especially Britannia. Currently suspected of allying with the Russian Getmanate.

The Middle Eastern Federation, capital Tehran, is an Iranian-dominated Islamic federation that is loyal to the Russian Getmanate. Its opponent is the Arabian Caliphate, capital, Riyadh, funded by the Euro Universe.

The European Universe, capital Paris, is a parliamentary federation of democratic European states. Oceania's expulsion, the rising growth of Britannia, and the Russian Getmanate's actions have constantly made Europe's leaders on a dilemma.

The Russian Getmanate was the former Soviet Union, won by the victory of the Ultranationalist forces by Ivan Zakharov against the recent pro-EU regime after the fall of the USSR in a.t.b. 1990. It is a militaristic, nationalistic, dictatorship that is currently producing thousands of Knightmare Frames loaded with Uranium Bombs and Sakuradite bombs, and clashes between Russian and Britannian forces are more frequent. Moreover, defections of high-profile Britannian figures to Russia have undermined the Britannians, despite the Britannians still the military superpower they are.

In a.t.b. 2010, the situation changed. Russian, Oceanian, and Japanese forces have declared war on Britannia. Britannia resisted, but it was overcome. Charles III was apparently killed in the crossfire. However, the Japanese and the Oceanians discover they are double-crossed by the Russians...
