Hrmf. Well, the thing about Danny and Dan is that Dan doesn't hate Danny... she just hates being chained down. Danny feels obligated to protect her. If he hadn't been gone so long, Sam and Tucker and Vlad would never have tried to create a clone to replace him, and she never would have been created. That she was puts the responsibility of keeping her safe on his head, though Dan is frustrated that he doesn't let her go and trust her to take care of herself. Sure, she "psychopathic" and "narcissistic" and "abnormally cruel," but she wants out, so if he wants to help her, he should do as she says.I guess this is also the first time I've shown full-body examples of what each of these guys costumes looks like in my imaginary Batman/Danny Phantom crossover world.

What's attached to that chain between them is a vial of ectoplasm; when Dan(i) was cloned, Sam, Tucker, and Vlad didn't knowhow to clone a ghost hybrid, and consequently fouled it up a bit. Hence her female body, her mental instability, and her genetic instability as well. She needs a constant source of ectoplasm to absorb energy from, and that's most of what keeps her tied to Danny. They have to use his DNA to create an ectoplasm compatible enough for her to absorb energy from. No one else can help her, and without that ectoplasm, she'll essentially die. Organ failure, all that.

AH! Like...neat! I really like that. Like she has to have a pacemaker or something or insulin injections but freaking ectoplasm! Which makes it deeper her dependence on him and he feeling the need to protect her. Genetics tend to do this!

Her second Two-Face outfit is my fave. Definitely consider that one. And as far as her two character sheets...THEY ARE WONDERFUL!! I really like her little normal outfit and I totally dig your redesign of their ghost uniforms like woah!! The chained ectoplasm thing around the waist is a wonderful lil' touch. But what's with the green bands around her in her human form? At first I was thinking she had just bands of green lace around her legs in weird places. LOL!!
But yeah, still, second outfit mah fave for Two-Face. 8]

Oh, her legs? I always forget to explain those. Those were put on by Sam and Tucker after Danielle managed to attack Vlad when he was trying to psychoanalyse her. He was out for a little while, and Sam and Tucker realized that while Danielle is a little ball of joy, if she's tired, Dan will shine through. This does not work the other way around though. Dan is dominant in their personality. If Danielle isn't strong enough to resist, Dan will use her to harm others, usually when Dan thinks Danielle is in danger but not being assertive enough. Dan is very protective of her human counterpart.
But yeah, Sam and Tucker pout them on her as a way of limiting her human half's ectoplasmic tolerance. Dan can't be too dominant in Danielle without making the girl sick. As long as the bands circuits are green and bright, the bands are still functioning.
It might be interesting to note, also, that while Dan can change at any point in time transform into Danielle, if Dan doesn't want to be present, Danielle can't change into her. Generally, if Danielle sis in danger, she'll shut down, she'll get scared. She's really a very young girl inside. Just imagine she's got the mentality of Dani from the show, only less bratty. She's like a twelve-year-old girl. However Dan is very mature, she's got the mind of a twenty-four year old, like Dan from the show. Dani also likes Vlad, thinks he's fatherly. Dan thinks Sam is irritating, and that Tuckers jokes are lame. Danielle is nice, Dan is instigative.

But I like the fighting Dani/Dan aspect but that Dan is protective not so much GRAHKILLHUMANSELF, know what I mean?

Well, Dan is pretty selfish in keeping Danielle alive, as he doesn't know how long their body would last without the other present. So to stay alive, he has to keep her safe. And their mentality is very odd. It's like a thought pool, where they'll both be thinking things at the same time. Dan is still there when Danielle is physically present and vice versa. If he were out-and-out hostile towards her, Danielle would feel it and be very sad. That sadness would leak into the pool and make him unhappy, too, so he's protective of her emotionally and physically. Nobody can hurt her or her feelings, because then he'll be harmed, too.
If it helps, she doesn't really like Daniel.

Yeah, I got you. Really any form of protection is a kind of selfishness if you argued it that way. So, it makes sense with these two. And the mind pool thing is concrete, too.
They would consider themselves separate identities who function as a whole but don't need to be integrated to do so. <3333333
