Well, first you need to be registered to the UKARA thingy-ma-bob to be able to purchase an airsoft rifle. The registration in itself is free, but you have to play three times in the same airsoft site. Then, once registered, you got to go on a website to purchase one. You can find "cheap" ones (around 80 pounds or so) or big brands, like Systema, wich are more like 1000 pounds... positively not cheap but that's as close as you can get to the real deal (it's the stuff used by the army and other armed forces to train).
The one you see on the picture is a compete custom bsed on a ICS, but the stock, pistol grip and the front set are real-steel. So there is around 1300 euros there

Simplicity, efficiency. This is my motto. I also have a 3point sling (not pictured) to finish the setup. I can honestly say that I do better and faster than somebody with a 8tons-full-of-technology M4
