actually, my 1000D was a a birthday gift last year and that I was really aiming for a Canon 5D.

I don't know much of the Nikon D60, but if you want to go for a good entry level for Nikon, I would suggest D90.

yes its worth the price since it doesnt cost that much. I bought an 18-200mm macro lens and is my current lens together with my 1000D
