May I ask a question about your materials?
I have recently started using Sakura Micron pens, and although after drawing it feels like it has dried, once I apply the watercolors, the pen smudges with the watercolor. Is there a certain amount of time you are supposed to wait before applying the watercolor?

Try it the other way around, do your inking after you've done the painting.
