Description
She watched as her slender mermaid body lured him into a sea of lust. Those who dwell on earth disgust her; humans and mermaids, all sinners alike. She flew down from the heavens to extract her vengeance from her bow. Fatal strikes left the mermaid's body rotting in the sand. She had a devious grin placed on her face as she walked away. God was enraged. He tore the wings off the angel, leaving her to be the "filthy sinner" she was; a human.I started this in May and I was way to unmotivated to ever finish this. Until now of course.

I like this one, the story fits and the water is gorgeous, the only thing that distracts me is the figure of the angel, the anatomy seems odd and i cant put my finger on it, she seems to lack a neck. Still, lovely piece!

That is a beautiful picture! Love the way you have added the detail on the sea so that it really seems to recede into the distance. I have ENDLESS respect for anyone who can draw the sea effectively!
The story behind it is so strange, and a little creepy, but I like it! I like it when people take the trouble to tell you a little about the drawing when its necessary, its not the same otherwise!

Hey there! I really like your composition of this piece, there is a vast field of veiw and not too much deadspace. The figuers are very interesting and you put a lot of detail into them! You've a wide range of values, but I would suggest getting a darker pencil, like a 4b or 6b so you can make the figures pop out more. Right now you lose a lot because you don't have crisp dark shadows and edges and darker values on your figures and scene. You did the rocks and water beautifully might I add!
