Synthesis is arguably one of the most disliked of the 3 Mass-effect endings (4 if u count refusal) but it has always been my favourite even before the extended cut.

the actual idea of Synthesis is something i thought about for a long time after playing the game. how the hall an Organic being would meld with a synthetic mind and Body.

The idea I came up with is that the energy blast that the Catalyst released, transformed the organic body into a computer framework with every strand of DNA becoming a Transistor, and the calls of the body becoming CPU cores the veins transferring electricity throwout the body.

Not harming anything

bout crating a computer inside the body ware something like the Geth or EDI could download into.

crating a kind of dual brain system ware one side is the Organic emotional creative side. And the either side being the Synthetic logical mathematical side.

imagine having the calculative concession of the Geth, and the individual drive of organics both inside the same brain.

It would be the perfect world ware people could still be themselves, yet be in contact with every living thing in the galaxy.

Any way that’s what I came up with to fill the vague idea of a plot-line Bioware lift us with and thats kinda what i was thinking wan i made the image.

+ i needed an excuse to make glowing DNA strands!

Thanks for the reply and the DNA looks so interesting. Maybe instead of proteins they could be 0's and 1's. Don't know what the strands can be. For my mythology I came up for my universe I kinda visual that DNA as the one cyber beings would have. Cyber beings are all digital but are sort of organic. You can touch them and they can bleed and such. They can go into cyberspace and are connected to technology. Due to their connection they can see something and get info on it. For example they look at a bottle of coke they will see the ingredients that make it up and info about the history of coke. Personally I would love to be a being like that it would be so interesting. Sorry for the long reply but I just love the idea of synthetic life

haha. this stuff sound like such sci-fi now but wan u really think about it look ate how much computers are A part of are lives.

how many people do u know how have smartphones/tablets?.

how often do u use U'r phone to talk to ether people?
(assuming u do have some kind of smart...or at list semi intelligent hand haled dives)

 if U'r like most u use it all day long to send tans/hundreds/thousands! of txts. and that’s not counting emails Facebook posts tweets +1's phone calls (yes some people still telephone in the 21st century) face-time forums Skype (and of cores devianArt ).

maybe it's not the great concussions of the Geth...but its party dame close! billions of people in constant communication all over the world 24 7.

and u also probably keep this little "Hub" with u every ware u go: on U'r night stand wan u sleep, in ur pocket all day and u probable got it timed so u have accuses to a computer well it charges...or at lest thats what i deed be for my iPhone died

and now i look at the little kids today. they practically have a tablet with them the second there out of the cradle!

and in like 10 years the hole world well be like that. blanketed in a web of 4G (or i guess 7 or 8G?)
and with computers always with us. for as fare back as we can remember being able to talk to anyone in the world wen ever we wont (kinda like what  we're doing right now)

now imagine a 60 years from now........imagine if a power blackout happened would u get people getting post chromatic stress disorder severed from the rest of the wold for the first time in there lives? Severed from the human Consonances!

that's a really cool idea. imagine if u could tell the mood of someone just by looking at them. it would be like the old idea of people heaving aura's!.

I've been travailing ate work and My phone seems to have become unenchanted with life and committed suicide. and finding reliable wi-fi in central Nevada as been...sketchy
