Im not the only one who absolutely HATES water levels in Sonic games right? The drowning music is awesome, but I feel so anxious whenever it comes on. :,D

I liked pretty much all of the levels in Sonic games. At least the classic games. Let's just not talk about the newer ones. XDDDDDDD

This hits me right in the feels. I totally panicked every time the music came on and sometimes never found a bubble, it made me feel so bad!
You did really great on this image! The perspective looks perfect to me and you get the feeling of anxiety in the picture really well! (there's a better word for this but I can't think of it right now lol) I really like how you've done lots of shades of blue except his eye which is still green! (It's the last bit of life before he DIES)

Water levels are so unfair... ;.; I get what you mean about feeling bad. I hate it when Sonic drowns. Dude can't even swim, so drowning must be his worst nightmare!
I remember back in Sonic Adventure DX that you could drown the characters in the pool. And when they finally did drown, they'd just float to the top real slowly... (Which was very traumatizing. I'm still surprised they allowed that in!).

I think you're right. I like his irrational fear of water, but I adore how when his friends are in danger (like Amy drowning in Sonic X) he'll push aside his fears to help his friends~!
It's just so....ugh when they float to the top of the pool! :,D It is a neat feature when I think about it (very realistic), but it's still pretty dark!

As much as Sonic X made mistakes, I think that simple scene was a very redeeming factor.

You see, that's why I feel kind of bad for hating the water levels and the drowning music. The music is PERFECT for the situation, and I love it for that reason. But actually playing the game with it causes me stress.
